29 September. Well, this could be the penultimate post in this series – or it might be the last. And I can hear some of you saying "well, see one field and you've seen them all". In which case, here's some more repetition:
27 September. I've been thinking that I need to bring this series to a close soon because summer is now well and truly on the wane. So let's make that the last day of September, since the weather is set fair for a few more days yet. Whether I can go out for a ride on 30 September isn't certain though, since I have to go and see a man about a dog on that day. But we shall see.
So that will be the end of summer. And only time will tell whether I can post another series about autumn adventures.
25 September. These may well be the first photos you'll see that have been taken with an iPhone 6s. I'm not boasting (if you know me at all, you'll know I'm not that sort of fellow at all). But you see, back at the beginning of September I managed to drop my year-old iPhone into a bucket of sea water. And that was the end of that. So I needed (actually, that's not totally accurate – wanted would be more like it) a replacement. But buying an iPhone 10 days before upgraded models are announced isn't the smartest of moves. So I had to be patient and hold on.
But the big drawback was having to spend three weeks with a temporary replacement – a Samsung running Android. And it's horrible. I hated it. Never again. And with a really crummy camera as well (as you may have noticed).
And now I'm happy again. And this time I've insured it (lesson learned!).
