(Image half-inched from Chris. P - I hope he doesn't mind.)
Well, this is something new for this blog: I'm out of here for the next four weeks. But don't get the wrong idea: I'll not be lounging about in Tuscany forgetting to tip the waitresses and suchlike. I'll be around and about, with family commitments to meet and lots of things to do - and, yes, also taking a bit of time out to rest and reflect.
In the meantime, take care of yourselves and look after those around you. These are changing times we are living through - but always remember what I've told you before, in the words of Mahatma Gandi, "You must be the change you wish to see in the world."
Let's make the world a better place. With peace and love.
See you on the 12th September.
UPDATE: I've just passed by to say that while I'm away all comments will need to be approved by me before they can appear on the blog - and that might take a couple of days or so. It's not that I don't trust you, or anything like that - it's just that otherwise I'd get back to find hundreds of ways to buy fake Nike trainers direct from China, and suchlike. Which is not to say that I mistrust all Chinese people (or people who wear fake Nike trainers, come to that) - but you know what I mean, I'm sure.
