I'm surprised that the demise of Design Week as a printed publication appears to have attracted so little comment out here in the blogosphere. Though I must admit that it's a publication that it's hard to feel any real affection for. But it was, nevertheless, a core component of being a designer these past 30 years. Essentially because this is where you went if you were looking for work, or you were looking for staff.
But that was then, and this is now. Will it survive as a digital product? We'll find out, eventually, once all the current subscriptions have expired - and whether they get renewed.
Meanwhile, I'll continue to visit the site for the free bits on the blog, just like the rest of you. Though it's a pity they don't put those out on an RSS feed - but maybe that would just be putting the boot in?
