We all know that you can't do a job these days without being passionate about it. Printers have passion, baristas have passion, and no doubt dentists have passion. Why, even plumbers have passion.
But lawyers have cottoned on to another catchword, it seems. You might remember that I told you a while ago about my experience as a juror at an inquest where a lawyer raised the issue of a "mischief" in the paperwork. Well, I was reading an article in The Guardian this morning about a free range egg scam, and the defence lawyer in the case, John Kelsey-Fry QC, suggested his client was not alone in creating what he described as "mischief" in the egg industry.
Or it might just be that John Kelsey-Fry QC reads this blog.
