Maybe it's come out in sympathy with the bankers of the western world, but I got to my desk yesterday morning and found that my computer had decided to go into meltdown mode. Just the screen display, mind - everything else works fine (it's just that I can't read anything behind the solarisation and extreme pixelation).
Maybe it's a secret sign that it was time I threw caution to the wind and embraced the new ugly. Or change my surname to Carson.
What shall I do?
System Preferences > Universal Access. In the 'Seeing' tab, check that 'Enhance contrast' isn't jammed up to the max. Just a thought :)

Try holding down the CONTROL+OPTION+COMMAND key all at once, while repeated pressing the COMMA key. That might do the trick - good luck.

Haha, glad you got it fixed, and thanks for reminding me of that great article on the New Ugly! My perspective has changes somewhat (I'm not sure why) since I first read it.
