Hello! I'm Elle, 'the student element' to the team.
(Seen a while back, somewhere in Southwark, London, behind the Tate Modern.)
I don't know what this was about, or who was behind it, and I'm sure there was a greater reason than making (what look like) roadworks more interesting... But it made me consider how much potential there is to get people thinking more.
I've seen and read about some great 'Guerrilla Marketing' campaigns out there, but shouldn't these methods be being used to open people's minds to the world around them, and question things, as well as just to sell products?
Even if it's probably advertising something, I like the way this could just be seen as asking people to think more... I've got a print out stuck to the cover of my current sketchbook.

It's possible this is some sort of Land Securities thing. The building in the background (with the blue-grey fins) is part of Bankside 123, their big Southwark development. I had to interview the architect for a Land job, so I know it well.
Like the idea of opening people's minds beyond the commercial. Reminds me of my friend Martin Firrell's work (http://www.martinfirrell.com).
Good to see my hand-off editing technique is getting results, by the way. This is a piece of cake.
