that's interesting - what is it?

Interesting1_2

This is the QR code that confirms that I've got a ticket for Interesting 2008. And if you hurry along here now you might just be in time to snap one up for yourself.

UPDATE: You're too late, already - they've all gone.

And if you're wondering what a QR code is, Alistair told us all about them over here.

So, if you do manage to get hold of a ticket, keep an eye out for me on 21 June: you can't mistake me, I look like this:-

Hi Dave,

QR codes are just starting to take off in the UK. The next 18 months will see a lot of uptake. The downside of QR codes is that the information is encoded onto the static barcode.

I've created a website that allows you to change where the QR code points to dynamcally. You just update your profile on our website when it takes your fancy. This means you can point it to your Myspace account one week and your Facebook profile the next.

We're launching T shirts, mousemats and jigsaws based around the idea.

That all looks very interesting, QRMe (and for the rest of you, here's his web link http://www.qrme.co.uk ).

A word of advice, though - it's best not to call me Dave.
