but i would not feel so all alone, everybody must get stoned
Back in 2004, that clever chap Daniel Eatock asked his Mum and Dad - when they where going for a walk on Blackpool beach - to take a set of bathroom scales and to weigh stones until they found one that weighed exactly one stone (I wonder how long that took them?).
Come 2007, and he went to the Lake District with his Mum and Dad to find more stones that weighed exactly one stone and found 10. He carried three in a rucksack and secured the other seven on a gardening trolley - then, with sheer determination, just about managed to get them all back to London on the train. There is no ramp at Euston train station down to the taxi rank, so he asked two workmen to help carry the stones down a flight of steps, explaining he was a geologist and they were important samples.
You can see them, should you so wish, at Daniel's current show at Kemistry Gallery. On now until 12 January.

We're going next week! And we're very excited, fuelled by your entry. Thanks David.
