If you're a regular here you'll have noticed that I've been making a few changes of late: switching from davidthedesigner.typepad.com to www.davidthedesigner.com; and tinkering around with the layout. But it now seems that if you start rooting around in the archives all of my picture images have disappeared - which, for a blog like this, is a bit of a disaster. The disappearance dates from 10 July when I switched over the domain name, but has only (as far as I'm aware) occurred in the past 24 hours.

Leave it with me and I'll get onto TypePad and see if I can get it sorted.

And if you're a newcomer here, please check back tomorrow when I hope you'll be able to access everything.

UPDATE: Typepad are now troubleshooting this problem - I hope to be back to normal service soon.

winchester is guilty (or it always pays to check your spelling)

John Leeson, managing director of Belgarum estate agents, in the High Street, said: "It does not surprise me that Winchester has bucked the trend once again as it is a guilt edged city" (from the Hampshire Chronicle).

Nationally, house prices rose by an average of 10.7 per cent over the past year, whilst in Winchester they've rocketed by 32%.

No wonder they feel so guilty.
