Ko Sliggers ( see here, here and here) has put me onto Pierre di Sciullo - someone that, I must admit, I'd not come across before. That's been my loss because, as Ko says, he continually pushes the graphic envelope. Pierre's website is here - do go and take a look.
One of the projects that Pierre's currently working on is the Champollion Museum of Figeac in the Lot region of France, which will re-open in 2007. Behind the historical front of the building there will be a glass and copper façade - and each window will feature a different writing system drawn from all over the world. It looks absolutely amazing:-


This looks well worth a trip to southern France next year - to be combined, perhaps, with a drive across Norman Foster's nearby Millau bridge:-
